Coffee County gets One-Hitter from Aiden Robertson on Monday

Aiden Robertson threw a one-hitter on Monday night at Powers Field in Manchester as Coffee County Central knocked off district foe Warren County 14-0 in only 4 1/2 innings. Ten of the runs were scored in the second.

The offensive big inning for Coffee County was led by Cole Pippenger, Nolan Jernigan, Carter McKenzie, Brendon Sheppard, and Jayden (Bird) Fellers, all driving in runs.

Robertson allowed no runs on one hit over five innings, striking out 11, and Hayden Collins took the loss for the Pioneers.

The Raiders collected 14 hits in only 4 innings of offense. McKenzie, Sheppard, Jernigan, Pippenger, Robertson, and Caleb Moran all managed two hits each. Pippenger had 4 RBI. Jernigan and McKenzie added 3 each.

Coffee County improved to 11-6 overall and 7-1 in District 6 4-A play.

Jax King contributed the only hit for Warren County as they dropped to 2-6 in district action.

The same teams will meet again on Tuesday in McMinnville at 6 PM.
