Coffee County Historical Society and Veterans Day Events Nov. 11

The Coffee County Historical Society will have a general membership meeting on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Coffee County Courthouse at the Manchester public square.

A formal meeting will not be held, but instead, a joint day of tribute for members and the public will be held with the Coffee County Veterans for Veterans Day.

A Veterans parade will begin at 10 AM, and the tribute ceremony will be on the Square at 11 AM. These two activities are the efforts of the Veterans organization.

In addition, the Coffee County Historical Society will offer access to the Museum and Office/Research room from 11 AM until 2 PM. There will be displays of research materials and military theme museum items.

Everyone is invited to attend. Annual regular membership in the Coffee County Historical Society is twenty-five dollars. Again, this day of tribute is open to the general public.
