Konor Heaton ran his way behind outstanding offensive line work for 3 touchdowns, 167 yards on 24 carries on Friday night as Coffee County defeated Warren County 33-14.
The Red Raiders added another touchdown in the 4th quarter when Cole Pippenger rushed into the endzone from 6-yards.
The offensive line led Coffee County to 345 total yards. Lineman Robbie Gilley was named the Sir Pizza Player of the Game.
The Red Raider defense also had a tremendous night as they held the Pioneers to just 190 yards.
Coffee County’s other points came from Kicker Elijah McCoy who had a 29-yard field goal the Raiders received 2 more points on a safety. The Warren County punter got a bad snap and decided to run the ball through the back of the endzone for a safety.
After beating Spring Hill the week before Coffee County upped its mark to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in Region 3 6-A.
