Coffee County Splits With Blackman

The Coffee County boys basketball team knocked off one of the top programs in the state on Tuesday night when they defeated the Blackman Blaze 50-45. The Crazy Daisies Player of the Game CJ Anthony led the Red Raiders in scoring with 16 points. The boys will host Marshall County on Saturday. In girls action, the Lady Raiders fell for the first time this season losing to the Lady Blaze 56-40. Senior Bella Vinson had 18 points in the losing effort. Both teams open district next Tuesday at Columbia.
