The Coffee County Red Raiders baseball team held 5-3 lead over the Columbia Lions heading into the 5th inning on Thursday night. The Lions were able to push across 2 runs in the 5th and 6th to upend the Raiders (1-2 overall) 7-5.
Carter McKenzie had a big game for Coffee County as he homered, singled, scored a run and knocked in 3. Cole Pippenger also had 2 hits, scoring once and he had 2 RBI.
The Raiders are set to play again on Saturday as they take on Oakland at 5 p.m. on the road.
