At 2:13 Wednesday morning Summitville Fire responded to a structure fire on Taylor Road.
Responders from Hillsboro, New Union, North Coffee, Manchester City fire departments, and the Coffee County Rescue Squad reported to the scene. They battled not only the fire but the outside temperature below zero and a wind chill of negative 10.
The home was unoccupied, and no injuries were reported.
