East Middle Track Star sets New State Record

Brindley Duncan of East Middle School in Tullahoma won TMSAA state championship on Saturday in the 800m with a time 2:26.67. Her time breaks the state record for middle school athletes.

Duncan finished state runner up with a 5:19.26 1600m breaking the school record (5:49) and her own personal record.

East Middle had two girls qualify for the TMSAA State Track Meet, Katie Grace Nichols and Duncan. Despite only having two athletes competing East Middle finished 6th overall as a team.
