Fatal Crash in Franklin County on Saturday

At 6:15 PM Saturday, July 28th, on Hwy. 279 at Beth Page Rd. in Franklin County, there was a fatal crash involving a 2001 Honda motorcycle and a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado pickup.

The motorcycle driven by 31-year-old Drew Gamble was traveling north on Beth Page Rd. The pickup truck was driven by 48-year-old Larry Eggert was traveling east on Hwy. 279.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports that the motorcycle failed to stop at the intersection and made contact with the pickup truck. Gamble died from the injuries he received in the crash. Eggert was not injured in the accident.
