Graduation Parade is Friday in Manchester

The “Parade of Graduates” is set for Friday, May 22, 2020 for Coffee County High School seniors. The expected over 350 vehicles will leave Raider Academy around 6 p.m. and then turn onto Waite Street. The parade will turn onto Fort St. traveling to the downtown square. The caravan will turn onto N. Irwin St., and then West Main St., before turning right onto Woodland St. Vehicles will turn left onto Highway 41. The parade will turn right at the Highway 41 to Highway 55, and then travel to Coffee County Central High School. Vehicles will turn left into the school’s circle where they will receive their diplomas and names will be called. Graduates will have the option of going to the student parking lot and waiting on all other graduates to throw their caps at the end of the ceremony. If graduates choose not to wait, they can then exit the parking lot.

People wanting to view the parade will be able to view from either side of the route.

To listen to the ceremony, tune into Rooster 101.5 FM beginning at 5:30 p.m. for the pre-ceremony. The graduation event starts at 5:50 p.m. that will include live video at www.ontargetnews.com.
