Coffee County traveled to McMinnville on Tuesday for district softball play. The Lady Raiders defeated the Warren County Lady Pioneers 11-6.
Willow Carden continued her hot hitting as she went 2-for-4, scoring one run, and she knocked in four runs. Paisley Campbell was 3-for-4 and had an RBI. Ella Arnold went 2-for-5 and scored twice. Chesnie Cox had a solid game as she went 2-for-3, scored once, and had an RBI. Jaylyn Moran was 1-for-2 with 2 RBI.
Kaitlyn Davis was credited with the victory for Coffee County. She pitched the first five innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out eight. Katelyn Anderson threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Lola Wells led Warren County with two hits in three at-bats.

Caleb Moran led the Red Raiders by driving in four runs. Moran went 2-for-3 with a double in the second and a home run in the fifth. He scored three times and had four RBI.
Carter McKenzie pitched the first two innings, and Cole Pippenger threw the final three in the shutout district win. They allowed only three hits combined.
Payton Miller suffered the loss for the Rebels. Miller surrendered seven runs on four hits over one inning. Josiah Cullins and Grayson McNeese pitched in relief.
Coffee County racked up 11 hits on the day. Pippenger, Bird Fellers, Nolan Jernigan, and Moran each racked up multiple hits for the Raiders. Pippenger went 3-for-4, scored twice, and had two RBI. Jernigan knocked in 3 runs in the win. Coffee County plays host to the Upperman Bees on Thursday at 6 PM.
