Lady Raiders come from behind for Softball Win over Rockvale

The Coffee County Lady Raiders (1-0) opened their season by coming from behind and defeated the Rockvale Lady Rockets 4-3 on Wednesday at Terry Floyd Field.  

Coffee County Lady Raiders hit two home runs in the win. Emily Schuster had a homer in the fourth inning. Cheyenne Vickers hit solo homer in the sixth inning.

Channah Gannon picked up the win in circle as she came in relief of Kaitlyn Davis.

The Lady Raiders trailed Rockvale 3-2 going into the bottom of the 6th. Vickers got the comeback rolling with her homerun and Olivia Evans added an RBI double scoring Chesnie Cox to complete the rally.

Gannon shut the door on the Lady Rockets in the 7th for the win.

Coffee County and Tullahoma continue their rivalry Wednesday night at East Middle School. You can hear this game on 93.9 The Duck, 939theduck.com or the 93.9 The Duck app.
