Mega Millions Top Prize Rises to $1.5 Billion

The current Mega Millions jackpot is estimated at $1.55 billion, which would make it the largest in the game’s nearly three-decade history.

However, we won’t know for sure until we get closer to Tuesday’s drawing (Aug. 8); at this level, jackpots are hard to predict with complete accuracy.

The winning numbers on Friday, Aug. 4 — 11, 30, 45, 52, 56, and the Mega Ball 20. No one matched all the numbers, but a player in Murfreesboro did have a ticket worth $2 million.
