Monday Night Basketball for the Coffee County Red Raiders

In what was a low scoring game for the Coffee County Lady Raiders turned into their 21st win on Wednesday night in McMinnville.

Bella Vinson scored 19 and Chole Gannon added 10 as the Lady Raiders improved to 21-1 on the season in the 45-29 non-district win.

Coffee County will play host to South Pittsburg on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and you can hear the action on Rooster 101.5, rooster1015.com or the Rooster 101.5 app. This is a girls only game and senior night for the Lady Raiders lone 12th grader Bella Vinson.

 

A very close boy’s matchup was up next at Warren County High School.

Warren County’s football superstar turned basketball star C.J. Taylor pumped in 40 points to lead the Pioneers to the 62-59 hard fought win.

Coffee County got another solid night in the low post from Trenton Scrivnor as he led the Raiders with 16 followed by Connor Shemwell with 12 along with Kyle Farless scoring 10 each.

Up next for the Coffee County will be a long trip to Lawrence County on Friday night for a boys only game starting at 6 p.m.
