Munn Signs to become an MTSU Blue Raider

Coffee County senior pitcher Keri Munn recently signed a softball scholarship with MTSU. Munn will be playing college ball for former Coffee County Coach Jeff Breeden.

Munn has had an amazing career for the Lady Raiders and her senior is not over with games set in the upcoming District 8-AAA tournament and possibly more.

In her 4 years at Coffee County, Keri so far has a career batting average of .387. Her pitching stats include a career ERA of 1.67, 453 strikeouts in 407 innings pitched, an overall record of 56-12 including a record of 18-1 this season and an ERA of 0.55.

Munn is expected to start in the pitching circle as the Lady Raiders begin play in the district tournament.

Next year Munn trades in her Red Raider colors for the Blue Raiders.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
