Munn to Play College Ball at MTSU

Coffee County softball pitcher Keri Munn has decided to stay close to home when it comes to playing college ball. The Red Raider will trade red for blue as she committed to play for former Coffee County coach Jeff Breeden at MTSU as she’ll become a Blue Raider.

A few years ago, before the senior righthander have even reached high school she verbally committed to the University of Auburn but has changed her mind and will play at the new softball complex at Middle Tennessee.

So far this season the Coffee County Lady Raiders are off to a great start with a 10-0 record in their 2021 campaign. Munn is helping lead the way with 7-0 mark. She has only allowed three earned runs and just 11 hits in 33 innings of work, striking out 57 and has a low ERA of 0.64. Oh, by the way she pitched a no-hitter on Saturday March 20 against Mt. Juliet.
