New Trucks Ordered for Coffee County SROs

Coffee County Sheriff Chad Partin recently reported to the Law Enforcement Committee that his department was in the process of ordering 12 new Ford Mavericks pickups. The trucks will be used by School Resource Officers (SROs) in the county school system. With an emergency light package included the trucks will cost around $29,000 each.

Partin told On Target News that the sheriff’s department currently has eleven SROs in the ten schools in the county school system. Two SROs are now serving Coffee County High School and one additional deputy is planned for Coffee County Middle School.
