November is Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month in Bedford County

On Monday, Nov. 6, Bedford County Mayor Chad Graham signed a proclamation declaring November to be Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month in Bedford County.

Fran Gray of Alzheimer’s Tennessee was present for the signing.

More than 120,000 Tennesseans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, according to Alzheimer’s Tennessee, which offers in-person and virtual services to families struggling with Alzheimer’s. More than five million people are living with the disease nationwide. The 24/7 helpline is 800-ALZ-GATE, which is 800-259-4283.
