Raider Baseball Defeats Central Magnet

On Friday, in the Crethan Hansert Memorial baseball classic in Manchester, the Coffee County Red Raiders defeated Murfreesboro’s Central Magnet 10-3.

Nate Rutledge had a huge day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with 3 RBI and scoring three times. Cole Pippenger had two hits, including a home run, 2 RBI, and scored three runs. Blake Hillis and Davis McKenzie had two hits each.

Jayden (Bird) Fellers pitched the first four innings to pick up the win.

The Raiders’ overall record improved to 12-13-1. They host Columbia in District 9-AAAA play on Monday night starting at 6:30.
