The Coffee County Red Raider baseball team suffered a difficult loss at home on Monday to the Bradley Central Bears, 12-2 in six innings.
The Bears jumped to 2-0 lead after the first inning and never trailed as the Red Raiders’ season came to a close in the Region 3-4A semifinal.
Aiden Robertson took the tough loss for Coffee County. The junior went two innings, allowing two runs on two hits.
Cole Pippenger, Jacob Holder, Caleb Moran, and Jacob Sherrill all had one hit to lead Coffee County offense. Pippenger and Dayne Crosslin had one RBI each.
The Raiders finished the season at 16-17 and were winners of the District 6-4A tournament championship.
