Scam Warning from Manchester Police

The Manchester Police Department has received complaints about SCAM attempts.

The department has been advised that residents are receiving phone calls from individuals that identify themselves as an employee of the Manchester Police Department.

The scammer advises the intended victim that they either have a warrant or have unpaid fines. They are requesting that you either send them money to settle this issue or that you will be arrested.

The Manchester Police Department will NEVER request or accept payment over the phone. The only ways that we accept payments for unpaid fines is online or at our police department.

Do not send money or give personal information to people on the phone or that you are unable to confirm their identity.
