Shelbyville Pastor Still Not Allowed to Leave India

Photo of Bryan Nerren from persecutionrelief.org
A pastor’s quest to return home to Shelbyville from India just got more complicated. In October of 2019, India custom’s officials arrested Bryan Nerren for failing to declare money he brought for a religious conference. Nerren was fined about $4,000.
He was denied his latest request to come home on Thursday when the judge said customs has not explicitly asked that his passport be returned. No new court date has been set.
The family is hoping President Donald Trump or Vice President Mike Pence will help in their quest to bring Nerren home.
Bryan, as of January 16 has been held for 105 days.
