Storms Blast the area on Monday Morning

After a busy Monday morning with multiple severe storms, much colder air has moved into the area. There are multiple reports of damage across Coffee, Bedford and other counties.

Most of the severe damage in Coffee County occurred between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. and was reported on No. Jackson St., Ledford Mill Road and the Short Springs area in Tullahoma.

Trees were uprooted in many other locations in our coverage area.

A tree fell across railroad tracks on Monday. CSX was blocked from traveling for a period of time until the tree was removed.
