Tennessee Ranked Number 4 for Pothole Problems

The state of Tennessee has significant problems with interstate potholes.

USA Today examined data from AAA, which showed that 44 million drivers paid for vehicle repairs from pothole damage last year.

According to the report, which also used Google Trends data from 2020-2023, Tennessee ranks 4th in the nation for pothole problems. Washington State ranks number one.

The report adds nationally, the average pothole repair bill is $460, and the number of repairs jumped by 57% between 2021 and 2022.
