
Recently, Coffee County Lady Raider softball senior RF Madison Pruitt signed to play college ball at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.
In the spring of 2023, Pruitt helped her team earn another trip to the TSSAA State Tournament.
Pruitt had a solid junior season when she hit for a .333 average and scored 34 runs.
On Tuesday, another Lady Raider outfielder signed to compete at the next level. CF Chesnie Cox signed her letter of intent to play for Chattanooga State. The Tigers are always a top-tier junior college program with multiple trips to the National Junior College World Series.
Cox led the Lady Raiders in batting average in 2023 at .488. She had 39 hits, scored 38 times, 23 RBI, and led Coffee County in stolen bases with 17. Cox was also named the district Offensive Player of the Year.
