Tip a Cop Event Raises Money for Special Olympics Tennessee

Trooper Matthew Parsley takes an order. Photos provided.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department Tip-A-Cop event at Lu Lu’s Cafe was a huge success on Saturday. They raised $4,003.76 for Special Olympics Tennessee.

The department thanks Lu Lu’s Cafe for hosting the event and the Tennessee Highway Patrol for helping as well.

The generosity of the public is an excellent example of why the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is the top fundraising organization in Tennessee. Franklin County should be very proud of the $23,468.76 raised this year.
