Bowman On Target Marketing, operator of The Rooster 101.5 (WFTZ-FM, Manchester, TN) and 93.9 The Duck (WDUC-FM, Lynchburg) is proud to announce the Bowman High School Basketball Showcase which will spotlight Coffee County and Tullahoma’s basketball teams throughout the 2021-22 season.

“I’m proud to lead a group of stations who are committed to keeping Southern Middle Tennessee entertained and informed,” Said Lucky Knott, Bowman On Target Marketing General Manager. “High School athletics are a great source of community pride in this region, and we’re excited to showcase them here on the Bowman family of stations.”

21 regular season high school basketball games will air on Bowman On Target Stations this season. 12 featuring Coffee County and 11 featuring Tullahoma including both ends of the cross-county rivalry between the Red Raiders and Wildcats. The package focuses on regional rivalries as well as district play. It will also include postseason games for both Tullahoma and Coffee County. Postseason broadcast plans will be announced once tournament schedules are released.

Knott who’s beginning his 40th year in the industry and 26th covering Coffee County Athletics returns to call the action for games on The Rooster 101.5 while Will Rabb, who called Moore County Football on sister station WHMT this fall and is a 10-year media veteran (including stops in Knoxville, New Orleans and Franklin County before joining the Bowman On Target Marking team in May of 2021),  will call all the action this season on the 93.9 The Duck High School Basketball Showcase. In addition to covering Moore County football this fall Rabb as previously broadcast Huntland and Franklin County athletics for WZYX and WCDT.

“I’m excited to return for another season of high school basketball action,” said Knott. ‘Both the Lady Raiders and Red Raiders should again be near the top of the district which will make for a fun season for Coffee County supporters and broadcasters alike.”

“I’m honored to be given the opportunity to call Tullahoma basketball this season on 93.9 The Duck,” said Rabb who is also the Assistant Program Director for Bowman On Target Marketing. “I grew up watching the battles in District 8-AAA and although the league looks a little different this season, I’m excited to see how it unfolds and bring the action to fans across Southern Middle Tennessee.”

Will Rabb

Will is a Middle Tennessee native having been born and raised in Winchester. His love of radio began as a child listening to local stations on the way to school or while falling asleep at night. After High School, where he was active in student media, he attended the University of Tennessee majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media while covering sports for the campus radio station. He then moved into the business professionally as a board op/producer for Cumulus of Knoxville and the Vol Network. His radio journey then took him to Louisiana where he was the lead producer for ESPN New Orleans. After returning home to Winchester, he spent several years broadcasting local sports for stations in Franklin County before joining the Bowman Family. When he’s not at the station, Will enjoys spending time with his wife Shaina and his two fur babies (Toulouse and Belle), cheering on the Vols, Preds and Saints and in the kitchen or behind the grill trying out new recipes.
