Toy Drop-off and Sign-up is Friday and Saturday for Graves/Taylor Foundation

The Coffee County Rescue Squad is teaming up with the Steve Graves/Gene Taylor Foundation for another toy and food drive. You can help by dropping off items this Friday from 4pm-7pm and Saturday between 2pm-6pm at Coffee County Rescue Squad.

Several years ago, then Sheriff Steve Graves and the now late Gene Taylor along with others began a toy and food drive through the sheriff’s department. The annual tradition continues even after Graves left office and the unfortunate death of Taylor.

Anyone wishing to help is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy or toys and or canned food to the drop-off at the Coffee County Rescue Squad building 2270 Murfreesboro Highway in Manchester between 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, or 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21.

If you are needing help this holiday season you will need to sign up on those dates and times. and you must provide the following documents: proof of residence, Identification, and birth certificate of child or children.

Toys and/or food will be distributed at a date to be determined.
