County unemployment rates dropped in a majority of Tennessee’s counties in November. Eighty-nine of the state’s 95 counties recorded lower rates for the month.
Unemployment remained the same in three counties in November and increased in three counties.
Moore County had the state’s lowest rate in November. At 2.4%, its new rate was 0.2 of a percentage point lower than October.
Other Local Counties:
Bedford was 3.7 percent in October, down to 3.5 percent in November.
Coffee is at 3.5 percent, down from 4.3 percent.
Franklin County’s unemployment rate dropped from 4.2 percent in October to 3.8 percent in November.
Grundy fell drastically from 5.5 percent to 4.1.
Lincoln went down from 3.4 percent in October to 3.2 percent in November.
Warren County had the largest drop in unemployment in the state, going from 7.5 percent in October to 3.8 percent in November.
