The seasonal impacts on employment, such as school breaks, continued to have an impact on Tennessee’s county unemployment numbers in June, according to newly released information from the Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
The June 2023 data showed unemployment rates increased in each of Tennessee’s 95 counties.
Bedford County’s unemployment rate in May was 3.2%, June rate 3.8%.
Coffee County rose from 3.3 to 3.9%.
Franklin County jumped up from 3.5% in May to 4% in June
Grundy County is up from 4.4 to 5.4%.
Lincoln County jumped up from 3.2% to 3.6%.
Moore County went from 2.4% in May to 3% in June.
Warren County finished June at 4.9% after a 3.8% rate in May.
