Westwood Splits with Eagleville in Middle School Basketball

Reece Finch had a huge 3rd quarter as she dropped in 9 of her team high 16 points as the Westwood Lady Rockets defeated Eagleville 37-18 on Monday night. Jules Ferrell hit 11 free-throws including 6 in the final quarter to add to her total of 15.

Westwood improves to 6-1 overall with the win.

In the boys’ play the game was tied going into the fourth and Eagleville was able to outscore the Rockets 12-9 to pull out the 28-25 win.

Matthew White led Westwood with 13 and Isaiah Buchanan chipped in with 8.

Both Rocket teams will play at Forrest on Thursday before taking on Coffee County Middle at Coffee County High School on Friday night.
