Westwood and Eagleville Split Games on Thursday

The Westwood Lady Rockets picked up their 16th win of the year with a 44-25 triumph over Eagleville at home on Thursday night.

Jules Ferrell scored 14 of her team leading 23 points in the second half to help Westwood improve to 16-1 and look for their 17th on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. against Stewarts Creek. Reece Finch added 11 and Bella VanZanbergen 4 for the Lady Rockets.

In the boys’ game at Joel Vinson Gymnasium Eagleville defeated Westwood 39-15.

After falling behind 16-7 at halftime the Rockets could never catch to the Eagles as Westwood fell to 9-7 on the season.

Matthew White led the Rockets with 6, followed by Kaysen Lowery with 4, Keller Hatfield 3 and Brady Christian 2.
