Lady Raiders Split Games in Bradley Thanksgiving Classic

The Coffee County Lady Raiders defeated the McMinn Central Lady Chargers 55-32 on Friday in the Bradley Central Thanksgiving Classic.

The Lady Raiders were led by Channah Gannon with 19 points. Natalie Barnes finished with 10, followed by Olivia Vinson with 9, and Jules Ferrell added 8.

On Saturday afternoon, Coffee County played the team that knocked them out of the region tournament last season and the defending Class 4A state champs, Bradley Central. The Bearettes made a late run to upend the Lady Raiders 55-46.

Sophomore Natalie Barnes led Coffee County with 19 points, followed by freshman Jules Ferrell with 11 points.

Both Coffee County teams will host Blackman on Tuesday night beginning at 6 p.m. Airtime is 5:50 p.m. on The Rooster 101.5, www.rooster1015.com, or the Rooster 101.5 app.
