Lady Raiders stay Unbeaten in District 6-4A play

In softball action on Tuesday night, Coffee County hosted Shelbyville in District 6-4A play at Terry Floyd Field.

The Lady Raiders improved to 12-8 overall and 3-0 in district play with a 10-4 win over the Eaglettes.

Coffee County Freshman Katelyn Anderson picked up the win in the circle. She allowed nine hits and four runs over seven innings, striking out three and walking none.

The Lady Raiders had ten hits in the game. Haidyn Campbell, Jalyn Moran, and Chesnie Cox had two hits each.

Shelbyville got 2 hits each from Jaleigha Harris and Jadyn Lee.

Coffee County will travel to Wilson Central, weather permitting on Wednesday before hosting Warren County on Thursday and Walker Valley on Friday. You can Thursday’s and Friday’s games on The Rooster 101.5 FM, rooster1015.com or the Rooster 101.5 app.
