Manchester’s 5th Annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony held Saturday

Manchester’s Veterans of Foreign Wars All-American Post 10904 hosted Manchester’s fifth annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony on Saturday. A large turnout attended both on a beautiful sun-drenched day.

John Wright believed to be the oldest living WWll veteran in Coffee County at age 96, was honored as the Grand Marshall of the parade. He served in the US Navy.

Jack Angelo, United States Air Force Senior Master Sergeant (Retired) and VFW Post 10904 members served as Master of Ceremonies and guest speaker.

Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
