The number 1 ranked softball team in Class-AAA the Coffee County Lady Raiders hosted Warren County on Monday night at Terry Floyd Field.
The Lady Raider bats continue to do damage as they crushed the ball for 15 hits including 3 each from Justus Turner and Brianna Shelton. The got 2 each from Kiya Ferrell, Kaitlyn Davis and Keri Munn as Coffee County picked up their 18th win of the year, 7-0.
It wasn’t all about hitting as Munn pitched all 7 innings on her way to a no-hitter. She struck out 7 and walked 2.
To go along with her 3 hits Turner added 2 RBI and scored a run when she stole home.
Munn and Turner were named Co-Crazy Daises Players of the Game for their efforts.
The Lady Raiders are now 18-2-1 on the season and will back in action on Tuesday host district foe Shelbyville at 7pm. They also play at on home on Wednesday when the Nashville Knights come to Manchester for a 6:30pm first pitch and you can hear the game on The Rooster 101.5 FM. On Thursday Coffee County travels to Lincoln County with game time set for 6:30pm.
