A fatal accident occurred on Thursday night in Manchester on Hwy 41 at Volunteer Parkway.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 11:30 PM when a 17 year-old driving a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling eastbound and swerved to avoid a pedestrian that was in the roadway. The THP said the truck was unable to avoid the accident and struck 24 year-old Stephen Holland.
No charges were filed against the juvenile and Holland died due to his injuries.
