Raiders Fall at Columbia in District Baseball

Tuesday night in Columbia, the Lions defeated the Coffee County Red Raiders in District 9-AAAA baseball, 5-2. The first inning was Coffee County’s downfall, as the Lions scored four times.

Blake Hillis had two hits for the Raiders, including a double. He scored a run and had an RBI. Cole Pippenger crossed the plate for the other Coffee County run.

The Raiders are 12-15-1 overall and 4-6 in district play. They travel to Upperman on Thursday night. Senior Night will take place on Friday as Franklin County comes to Manchester. The Rooster 101.5 will be on hand for the play-by-play.
