Raiders Fall to Blaze in Another Duel between Pitchers

On Wednesday evening in Manchester, Coffee County hosted Blackman in high school baseball.

On Tuesday, the teams battled in a pitcher’s duel that ended in a 2-0 Blaze win. In Wednesday’s game, it was another pitcher’s duel. The Raiders gave up just five hits, and Blackman only three. The Blaze picked up the hard-fought win, 5-2.

Colter Neel homered for Coffee County. Blake Hillis and Brendon Sheppard contributed doubles.

The 3-5 Raiders will take on Rabu Gap-Nacoochee, a private school from Georgia on Friday at 7:30 PM at Walker Valley High School in Bradley County.
