Two Drug Busts in Franklin County on Tuesday

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department made an arrest after a traffic stop was made on Tuesday. The investigation led to the arrest of Jeremiah Micah Gipson for the following charges:

-Manufacture, Delivery, or Sell of a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Meth)

-Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute

-Tampering With Evidence

$25,000 Bond

Court Date: 04/08/2024

Gipson had the following evidence seized from him:

-100 pills believed to be fentanyl.

-6 grams of a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

-$2,500.00 in US Currency

In the evening, another traffic stop was made, and this investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence. Subsequently, Travis Aaron Stines and Courtney Taylor McGee were arrested. They were charged with the following charges, and the following evidence was seized from them:

Travis Aaron Stine

-Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute

-Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance X2

-Introduction of Contraband in a Penal Institution

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

$50,000 Bond

Court Date: 04/08/2024

Stines had the following evidence seized from him:

-75 pills believed to be fentanyl.

-2 ounces of a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

Courtney Taylor McGee

-Possession of Schedule II Controlled Substance

-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

-Failure to Maintain Lane

$50,000 Bond

Court Date: 04/08/2024

McGee had the following evidence seized from her:

-1 ounce of a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

-2014 Cadillac XTS

Decherd Police assisted with this investigation.
