Stacker ranked data from the Fatality Analysis Reporting System, compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, to identify the highways in Tennessee that had the most fatalities from auto crashes in 2020. Ties were broken by the total quantity of crashes where possible.
Interstate 24 ranked 2nd with 38 fatalities in 35 crashes. I-40 ranked 1st with 80 fatalities in 70 crashes.
