Two District Wins on Friday for Coffee County Basketball

The Coffee County Lady Raiders got well-balanced scoring on Friday night in Shelbyville to defeat the Eaglettes 61-28.

Natalie Barnes finished with 12 points, followed by Olivia Vinson and Chloe Gannon with 11 each. Channah Gannon and Jalie Ruehling had 8 each, and Emaleigh Tarpley finished with 7 points.

The Lady Raiders are now 25-1 overall and cruising at 4-0 in District 6 Class 4-A play.

The Coffee County boys dominated Shelbyville as they picked up an important district win over the Eagles, 61-31.

Jackson Shemwell led the Raiders with 12 points, followed by Cooper Reed with 11, Deion Subaran had 10, and Treyton Williams finished with 7 points.

Coffee County is 16-6 overall and 3-1 in district play.
