The United Way, serving Bedford and Lincoln counties, is proud to announce the opening of the grant process for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. Through the United Way grant program, partners’ dollars go further with strategic investments in the areas of health, education, and income.
Proposals for a one-year grant will be accepted beginning on April 1, 2024, and ending on April 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM CST. Any agency interested in funding July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025, must submit an application through the grant application process.
Director of Grants and Advocacy, Ella Weaver, states, “We look forward to partnering with agencies to make meaningful differences in the lives of individuals and families in Bedford and Lincoln counties. These investments create lasting impact, driving positive change where it’s needed most.”
To be eligible for funding, organizations must:
– provide health and human service programs in Bedford and/or Lincoln counties
– have 501(c)(3) or IRS equivalent nonprofit status
– have two full years of operation before requesting United Way funding
– align with one of the following funding priorities – education, income, or health
