Coffee County Softball in Knoxville for Tournament

Coffee County’s Lady Raider softball is off to a terrific start in the Gibbs Tournament in Knoxville.

A hit explosion began in third inning and extended into the fourth and final inning in their first of two games on Friday night. The Lady Raiders crushed the ball for 14 hits against Grace Christian Academy that propel them to a 11-0, time limit game.

CF Olivia Evans led the way with 3 hits, 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Kaitlyn Davis, Haiden Campbell and Keri Munn added 2 hits each. Chesnie Cox and Munn had 2 RBI each.

Munn went the distance in the circle allowing 3 hits and striking out 5. Coffee County is now 15-0 on the season.
