Area Schools Receive Safety Grant Funding

Schools across the state have been applying for part of the nearly $200 million in school safety grant money since June.

All public schools and private schools are eligible to apply for two grants.

So far, here is a list of allocations:

  • Bedford County Schools: $363,025
  • Coffee County Schools: $174,479
  • Fayetteville City Schools: $44,891
  • Franklin County Schools: $195,501
  • Grundy County Schools: $68,548.96
  • Lincoln County Schools: $158,564
  • Manchester City Schools: $61,565
  • Moore County Schools: $35,312
  • Tullahoma City Schools: $145,208
  • Warren County Schools: $259,252

News and Sports Director for Rooster 101.5 FM, 93.9 The Duck and Whiskey Country 105.1, and 95.9. He is currently the play-by-play voice of the Coffee County Red Raiders (31 years) on The Rooster 101.5 and can be heard M-F broadcasting our local news. Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
