On Friday afternoon, around 1 PM, Shelbyville Police reported that the back of a building in the city had collapsed. East Depot St at South Brittian Street, near Templeton Insurance Company, had to be closed.
Emergency crews have determined the remaining portion of the building will have to come down.
No additional details have been released about the incident, including why the building collapsed.
