Summitville Volunteer Fire Department and along with other departments and rescue squad members were called to the scene of a double-wide mobile home fire late Monday afternoon. The home was fully engulfed when firemen arrived. The blaze occurred at 122 Summitville Rd. near the Summitville cave area.

A fire destroyed a mobile home on Henry Cove Road in Hillsboro on Monday afternoon. Hillsboro volunteer fire department along with all other county departments and Manchester Fire and Rescue fought the blaze. Coffee County Rescue Squad also responded. Two residents were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center via air ambulance.
