Grundy County Receives Grant for New Health Department

Grundy County has been awarded a $2.4 million grant to build a new health department building. The grant requires a $260,000 match from the county. The 9,000 square foot structure will be erected near the SR 56 – SR 108 junction in Coalmont. The current health department is located on Main St. in Altamont.
