Help for Producers because of Extreme Drought

Several Tennessee counties have been designated as D-3 or under extreme drought conditions on the latest USDA drought monitor. Producers are eligible for drought assistance payments from USDA FSA.

Producers in Franklin, Grundy, Warren Counties should contact their local FSA offices for information on receiving assistance.

Producers will need to provide data on the number of adult cows and bulls in your herd, the number of animals over and animals under 500lbs if they are weaned. Depending on circumstances, you may be eligible for payments on animals sold earlier in the year. Sheep, goats, horses, and mules are also eligible.
