Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department Receives Corrections Grant

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department has been awarded a $14,271 training grant from the Tennessee Corrections Institute. The grant is a non-matching award that will be used for training equipment for Corrections Officers of the Lincoln County Jail.

Chief Jim Baldwin, who wrote the grant, says the grant money will be used to purchase equipment to enhance the current training room, self-defense equipment, and contraband search equipment for staff.
