Manchester Man Charged with First-Degree Murder Has Case Bound Over to Grand Jury

Tauris Maymi, the man charged with first-degree murder in a Manchester shooting in September 2023, has been bound over to the grand jury on the charge of first-degree murder.

On September 29, 2023, around 1:30 PM at the Ambassador Inn in Manchester, Tennessee, Gary Edward Teague, age 44, from Hillsboro, Tennessee, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and passed away from the wounds shortly thereafter.

As first reported by On Target News, the suspect, Tauris Donte Maymi, age 30, from Manchester, Tennessee, was charged with first-degree murder. He remains housed in the Coffee County Jail.
